Polygon Barrier for Service Area

Does anyone know if it possible to generate polygon barrier for a service area using Network Analyst?  I've created a polygon barrier that works when creating a new route using Network Analyst, but the service area polygon that is generated is not affected by the barrier.  I have the barrier has a restriction so shouldn't the barrier keep the service area polygon from entering into it?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

It looks like the polygon barrier does affect the service area, but not completely.  Some of the service area still bleeds over into the polygon barrier.

I've attached a screenshot to show this.

I contacted ESRI and figured out the problem.  All I needed to do was turn off "Use Hierarchy" which generalized the polygons, as well as changing the polygon generation to "Detailed" instead of the default "Generalized".
