I'm trying to find the most efficient way to take data from an excel sheet and calculate totals with it. For example, for person 1, they had multiple leg trips. From point A to B, from B to C, and from C to D. How could I import this data and other data in relation to it into ArcMap and utilize the Network Analysis extension? I have multiple people to do this for, all with multiple trips. I would think a python script would work best for a problem like this. My main goals here are displaying a route summary of each person and calculating the total amount of miles traveled. I already have a map of the streets, it's just getting this extra data into that I'm needing help with.
