ArcGIS Server Site log level and Monitor logs part of registered ArcGIS Server component do not match

Hello Team,

We are currently using ArcGIS Monitor 2025 version and have observed that the log level for a registered ArcGIS Server component shows only "Warning" & "Severe" messages whereas the same ArcGIS Server site has log level set to "Info". Example is, We have registered the hosting site with ArcGIS Monitor. Hosting site log level is set to "Info" while the hosting site registered component in Monitor shows only "Warning" & "Severe" messages. Unable to add screenshots to this post.

Need to understand why there is no sync between the log levels of the Site vs the registered component in Monitor?

Hi @Shawn_NG25,

The behavior you're seeing is expected. ArcGIS Monitor only shows "Warning" & "Severe" log messages from ArcGIS Server components. It does not sync with the ArcGIS Server component log settings.

Need to understand why there is no sync between the log levels of the Site vs the registered component in Monitor?

The intent is for ArcGIS Monitor to detect and identify errors that might occur in an ArcGIS Server component, hence why it only returns "Warning" & "Severe" log messages. Typically you might have multiple ArcGIS Server components registered with Monitor and collecting more detailed log information may overwhelm Monitor with too much logging info.
