Hi - Our org uses a wildcart certificate from Comodo CA. I have the trust set up across the entire ArcEnterprise and I'd like to use the cert trust chain for Monitor. The trust chain includes a root cert, intermediate cert and the pfx.
Does anyone know how to create the private and public .pem files that Monitor seems to need?
Thanks,
David

Hi David,
Refer to the Comodo documentation for steps on creating a .pem file:
https://ssl.comodo.com/support/creating-a-pem-file.php
External Certificate Authorities such as Comodo, VeriSign, and Thwate, have their own workflows and documentation on the generation of .pem files.

Yes I did that, unfortunately, the documentation does not distinguish between private key and public key generation. And so I don't know what to tell my IT people. Clearly they were able to generate a pem, but they only generated one. It does contain the trust chain, but I have no way of know whether it is private or public
Hi David,
I suggest getting the clarification on this directly from Comodo by submitting a ticket:

They are the Certificate Authority...
