ArcGIS Monitor and webgisdr

Has anyone else also found that Monitor cannot get metrics while webgisdr backups are running? 

ArcGIS Monitor shows the following Warning error logged:

E_OBSERVER_RUN, Run Failed, ArcGIS Server Site is currently being configured by another administrative operation. Please try again later.

ArcGIS Server shows the following SEVERE error logged:

Failed to edit the metric 'agm-acbc8563-bd07-4b0d-8a98-2c372a26fabd' ArcGIS Server Site is currently being configured by another administrative operation. Please try again later.

Is this expected behavior meaning services can be accessed without issue (although not started or stopped), those requests are logged by ArcGIS Server, but Monitor will never get those metrics. This would have downstream effects on monthly reporting or ArcSOC Optimizer.

What versions of Enterprise and Monitor are you using? We run the webgisdr several times a week and never have an issue with Monitor capturing metrics during it.

Edit: We use Enterprise 11.1 and Monitor 2023.3.1

I'm encountering the same issue with webgisdr in my environment, including the same error in ArcGIS Server logs, and a metrics connectivity alert in ArcGIS Monitor. Metrics gathering halts until the server backups are completed in webgisdr export.

I'm using ArcGIS Enterprise 11.3 and Monitor 2023.3.1, with an upgrade to 2024.0.x planned in the near future.

We have Enterprise 10.9.1 and the newest Monitor 2024.0.1.

Are you using a service account or local accounts to run the Server and Monitor services?

I'm using a local account to run the ArcGIS Monitor Server service.

I use the same service account for both Server and Monitor. Are you able to switch the account running the Monitor service from the local to a service account?
