arcgis monitor 2024.1 failed to add server with message Check credentials, unable to return user access level

Hello,

since we upgrade to arcgis monitor 2024.1 we can not add stand-alone arcgis servers to arcgis monitor anymore with arcgis server set to HTTP only. We get -> Check credentials, unable to return user access level

does anyone know when BUG-000174232 will be fixed?

Hi @Martijnde_Boer,

Can you please check the HTTP communication settings in ArcGIS Monitor? Please navigate to Administration page > Server subtab > HTTP communication settings. 

• Is the HTTPS Only property enabled?
• Is the HTTP Strict Transport Security option enabled?

It looks like this was submitted on 2/11/2025 and is still being reviewed by Tech Support.

The HTTPS Only has been set to False because the remote stand-alone arcgis servers (without a web-adapter)  are set to HTTP only for protocol (in home>security>config)

And we want arcgis monitor to work with HTTP only
