Hello,

I am encountering an issue with Layout Export to an AIX file. When I open the AIX file with Adobe Illustrator, it is simply a blank artboard. Adobe Illustrator v29.5.1.

Previously, I have been prompted by ArcGIS Maps for Adobe CC extension to sign into our organization. However, within Illustrator, under Windows -> Extensions, it does not list ArcGIS Maps for Adobe CC even though it is installed.

According to Adobe Creative Cloud, it says that ArcGIS Maps for Adobe CC v3.9.0 is installed however it states that it supports ArcGIS Pro 3.5, ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5, and the latest update of ArcGIS Online.

My organization is currently using ArcGIS Pro v3.1.7 && ArcGIS Enterprise v11.1

ArcGIS Maps for Adobe CC v3.9.0 was released May 27th 2025 and it doesn't look like rolling back to a previous version is possible.

Please advise.

Hi @PTW ,

Please try uninstalling and re-installing the ArcGIS Maps for Adobe extension. You can find the latest version on our product website.

If you installed the app from Creative Cloud, please make sure that you follow the download and install instructions from that location.

Let me know if this fixes what you're seeing; if it doesn't we can try taking a deeper look into the specifics of this issue.

Hi @AnnaHartig ,

After uninstalling and re-installing ArcGIS Maps for Adobe extension, the exported AIX files are still blank and it does not appear in the Windows->Extensions dropdown.

@PTW Are you running the extension on a Windows or Mac machine? If you're on Windows, can you try a per-user install instead of per-machine?

Please let me know if that works for you.

Thanks!
