This web map provides a detailed basemap for the world symbolized with rich cartographic styling with an emphasis on the natural world. At small-to-mid-scales the landcover is presented by biome features. This layer includes highways, major roads, minor roads, railways, water features, cities, parks, landmarks, building footprints, and administrative boundaries. The map is built using the same data sources used for all Esri vector basemaps.
