Hello Esri team,
First of all, thank you for the great work on the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript. I use it a lot and truly appreciate the documentation.
I have a small but useful feature request: add a "Copy for LLMs" button to the documentation pages (API reference and guides).
Here are three reasons why this would help:
It would help me build AI-assisted skills.
I am currently working on LLM-based skills involving ArcGIS JS API code. A clean, one-click way to copy a class or sample in an LLM-friendly format (like Markdown) would save me significant manual cleanup time.
Even a temporary or per-class copy is useful.
I understand a full solution might take time. But even a small "Copy for LLMs" button next to a single class definition or code sample would already be a big help. Sometimes I just need to copy one example to feed into an LLM for better suggestions.
Many open-source documentation systems already support this.
This pattern is becoming common. Tools like GitBook, Docusaurus, and many open-source project docs (for example, Sui, Ethereum, and various dev tooling sites) already include a "Copy as Markdown" or "Copy for LLMs" button. It improves developer experience significantly.
Adding this feature would make the ArcGIS Maps SDK even better for modern AI-assisted workflows.
Thank you for considering this.
Best regards,
GeoDaoyu

Hey
guess youre better placed when submitting an ArcGIS Idea.
There is an own Idea-Forum per topic. For JS it is as follows:
