Map is not displaying

hello,
I am new at Javascript API. Before I worked with flex API successfully. but at this moment i am struggling at the beginning with javascript. the main issue is: i am changing rest link in code but in browser the map is not displaying and its only blank. Can anybody help me. Sorry if this topic discussed earlier.

The best thing you can do here is post your code that doesn't work. If possible, a simple html page with your JS and CSS is the best option.

That being said, which sample did you modify? Are you adding a tiled layer or a dynamic layer?
