listBox select does not display properly

I select a state from a listbox, and the selection should show up as a graphic on the map using the FindTask. It is there, but it is displayed to the right. At that, the graphic displays differently depending on my zoom level. Any ideas that might be able to help me? I have attached two images to show the problem.

I figured it out. My CSS had the following for the map div:

text-align:center;

It was causing the shift.
