Hi,

I'm not sure if this is a story map issue or a JavaScript API 3.19 issue, so apologies for cross-posting.

I've downloaded the swipe story map to host on our servers because I need to modify it slightly.  I have the hosted code on my test servers and it's working, but I'm seeing these errors in the Chrome console:

Uncaught TypeError: f.contains is not a function
at Object.isDescendant (init.js:97)
at HTMLDivElement.<anonymous> (init.js:184)

init.js is https://js.arcgis.com/3.19/init.js hence why I think this may be an issue with the latest release of the api rather than a specific issue with the story map.

The errors appear when I move the mouse over the righthand side of the swipe map.

Can anyone tell me what's happening?

Thanks,

Sarah Noakes

Hi Sarah,

Sorry for the issue with the Swipe app.  After having a look, I have discovered the problem, and it is in the Swipe app itself, not the JS API.  While the problem will not affect the way the app performs, I will PM you an easy fix that will solve the problem, and therefor the errors in the console.
