Google maps Javascript API V2 has been officially deprecated, does latest ArcGIS Javascript API support Google V3 ? if not yet, when V3 will be supported ?

I believe the actual version of the extensions (1.6) supports only the v2 of google maps APIs...
I revival your question to esri staff for the 1.7 version 🙂

I would also like to see some sample code, even if Google Maps API v3 is not officially supported yet.

The sample code for Google Maps API v2 doesn't work with the v3 API.

Thanks,
Steve

I'd like to join the group of people interested in knowing more about this topic. Would be great to know if there are any plans to support v3.

ArcGIS JavaScript Extension for Google Maps really needs to be updated for google maps api v3.

I know other APIs like Web ADF, Flex and others are more widely used, but I have found google maps to be lightweight, simple and elegant. In fact, when properly combining ASP.Net, google maps and js ext for google maps, I have found it to be more functional that Web ADF.

Could someone involved with ArcGIS JavaScript Extension for Google Maps at ESRI please update on the status of releasing a version compatible with google maps v3. It would be much appreciated.
Ben

(for those of you who got the first edition of this post; I stand corrected, google maps v2 keys are still available. According to google's depreciation policy it could possibly end without notice)
