googlemap in VS2010 web application

Dears I want to show googlemap as basemap in my webapplication. I just go throguh http://help.arcgis.com/en/webapi/javascript/gmaps/help/google_start.htm  .But i dont know how to start this with in vs 2010( vb.net) .

Can anybdy tell me step by step instructions for adding googlemap on my web application?Is it possible to do the coding on silverlight application.If yes help me basd on the silverlight application.

I am using arcgis desktop10
