Hi all, It looks like the ESRI API for Javascript 3.3 is about to come out. The templates reference it. I was wondering if anyone knows roughly when it will come out or what is new? New Dojo version?

Thanks Kelly for the quick response. The problem is when click second level navigation items in left side, the content in right side does not refresh. And the error is "Object doesn't support this action".

Ok I understand - you are talking about the help site in general not working well in IE 7 not the sample. The samples should all work in IE7 however the ArcGIS API for JavaScript help is not designed to run well in older browsers like IE7. When browsing the help we suggest that you use the current version of your browser of choice.

I can't believe there's no search box for the API Reference anymore, 'cause, like who would ever want to search it right.  So awesome now to search google for "arcgis javascript <term>" and get a page that says "The page you're looking for does not exist or has been moved", but does nothing to get you to that specific page in the new reference.  Real bang up job.

This is my experience in the past few days as well.

I don't understand why it's so hard to add a search box for the API reference as there's search box for samples.

axxl et al what do you think the best new things are with the new Dojo? Will you do anything new now that leverages the new Dojo? Just curious, thanks.

I'm trying to get used to the new syntax and functionalities and collect some experience with it in small apps and demos but I don't force to upgrade existing applications yet. I guess it's a good time to get 'prepared'. Since the examples in the JS-API 3.3 are still the 'old way' I guess the next development steps of the JS-API will lead me a bit further. I will follow the documentation, tipps and tricks and blogs of the community because I think that the adjustments are an ongoing process. And - of course - discussions like this here. There are some topics in this forum, like my "What's new in Dojo 1.8" thread which deal with the new version and I hope that all these threads will help us to get and share the experiences in our evolving community.
