Editor Widget with simple toolbar

I modified the Editor Widget with simple toolbar sample and it is defaulting my date field to "12/29/1899" when I create a new feature. Any ideas why this would be? By the way, my feature is set to allow for NULL values and it does not have a Default Value. Thanks.

Hi Michael Matela,

I am not what is different but I would like to ask you what is the version of ArcGIS For Server you are using? If you are using your own feature service.

I remember there was an issue for ArcGIS Server Pre 10.1 that it will default it to that date.

I was able to get around this problem by creating a new Feature Class with identical fields. The Feature Class I was originally using was imported from a geo-database and maybe that's why the Date field was amiss.

Hi Michael,

That might be possible. It may have taken the default date when you imported your data from  original GDB.
