10.1 Print Task with Web Tiled Layer

Does the new 10.1 print task or print widget support web tiled layers? I am using a mapbox mbtiles layer for my basemap and I need to implement print that will work across all browsers including IE 7 and 8.

Unfortunately, no, our print tools do not support web tiled layers.

Thanks for the response Derek. Do you know if there are plans to support this functionality in the future? This is probably more an issue with ArcMap supporting this tile format versus the api supporting it right?

We haven't discussed it yet but I'll bring it up with the team. I'm honestly not sure if we can make this all work client side or if we would need to make changes to the server side print task as well.

I'm using 10.1 SP1 and Web Tiled Layers still appear to be unsupported.  I have a number of basemaps and some weather layers that I would like to be able to print.  I'm going to give this a shot, possibly creating a custom print task. 

Has anyone attempted custom prints with python or anything else to add support for WebTiledLayers that could be a start in this direction?

It will be supported with 10.2 print service.

I'm curious...actually I'm desperate to figure out how....how are you using Mapbox tiles as a basemap without having to do custom coding/compiling?
