Zone lookup issues

We are upgrading Enterprise from 10.8 to 11.1, and I'm trying to configure a zone lookup instant app, just like the configurable app we have in the previous portal. I'm using the same map as before, where I want to show results from 3 diferent (non-overlapping) polygon layers . But somehow the new instant app is showing the same pop-up 3 times as result, instead of once. Is this a known bug? is there any workaround for this?

The polygon layers are also doing something strange on the app, I have transparency on them and it looks fine when I configure the webmap, but in the app it starts to render the poligons darker and darker, until I looks like they overlap several (3?) times on the map.

Any ideas on what could be wrong, and what to look for to fix it?

Thanks for the app link and test addresses. I setup a test app using your data and it only returns one result. Can you test this out and see if it works as expected.

If it does work as expected here is the configuration used to get only the AWS service days to show up in the list.

that is the setup we are using.  your test version did work, but we are using our organizations composite address locator not ESRI or world address locator.  we use the same composite locator on all our web maps, apps and within arcpro

Ok I updated the test app to use the locator and in my testing its still just returning one result. https://www.arcgis.com/apps/instant/lookup/index.html?appid=6a9c11455126444e8c9732f6c3241443

I'll keep looking at the properties to see if I can figure out what is different between the two apps.

@MarkGambordella can you try setting the following in your app to see if it resolves the issue:

1. Go into the configuration and select "Features within a Zone"

2. Find the setting for Spatial Relationship and select "Contains"

3. Switch back to 'For a Zone" then save and publish the app

YES.  that seems to have solved the issue. Thanks for the fast response and solution.  not sure how or why that was changed or if it has always been that way.

So glad it helped. It may be a bug in the application where it is picking up a setting it shouldn't be using.  We'll look into getting that resolved in the next release.

we are experience the same issue.  we get 2 different results int eh panel.  when there should only be one.  the address falls into one zone but the adjacent zone also shows up in the results panel
