Minimal Gallery - Change Case-Sensitive Search

I have deployed a minimal gallery for my organization. Users are able to search for tags and titles, but searches must be lowercase. This is problematic, especially for mobile users. Is there a way to change the settings of the search to be able to search without case-sensitivity?

Unfortunately this is a bug with Minimal Gallery.  You can use another group gallery, Category Gallery, which has the ability to search and is not case sensitive. To have it appear closer to look of  Minimal gallery be sure to set your default content view as grid.
