HI!
We're currently in the process of updating our applications to meet WCAG accessibility standards and are reviewing all of them as part of this effort. You may have seen my other post. Per our ESRI solution engineer has recommended that we post all issues in the community forum in addition to opening tickets. We're trying to collaborate and raise awareness of the issues we're seeing in our applications. We want to highlight ones that can be easily resolved by users and which ones fall under ESRI's purview.

Issue:

I made two post about this particular issue, it was fixed for only certain widgets, but not across different buttons that we find across multiple applications. Currently, we have internally a couple of open tickets tracking this issue that shows up in various places; one in the CSV button and the mother in a calcite button for expand map tools.

Steps to reproduce in app:

  1. open up application
    1. type in an address, you can use "69 W WASHINGTON ST, CHICAGO, IL"
  2. Wait for results on the left pane until CSV button appears
  3. Run tool, we are use axeDev and it should match above image.

We fixed the issue with the csv and collapse button aria-label values last night. You should see those values set in your applications now.

Hi @sigccil

Is there a way to share these apps? I cannot access them unfortunately.

hi @TonghuiMing ,
There apps are public and you should be able to see them, see links below. Although, we have seen issues with some ESRI support staff outside of the US being unable to access the apps. Please let me know if the issue persist.

@sigccil

Sorry that there was a bit of a mix-up while I was glancing through A11Y issues, and I assumed I was looking at the post for Experience Builder. My bad! Colleagues from the Instant Apps team are better suited to follow up with you on this.

@TonghuiMing
No worries, thanks for taking a look. Is someone from the instant app team looking into this issue?

You mentioned that you already created a support issue for this correct?  We'll take a look at this one on the Instant Apps side

Yes, I created a case number. Is it okay for me to post it on here or would you like me to email it to you? Please let me know the best method.

@sigccil I'll find it no need to post.
