I have created a new Space Planner app for my organization and we are mainly going to use the Organization Area Allocation feature to manage our department assignments. I am currently going through all of our units and assigning them to their current areas.
The issue I am running into is when trying to filter the units by our current Department field. It is giving me a search bar rather than a pull down menu and when I search for anything, it does not return any results. It will give me some options to choose from when I start typing, but even when selecting a given option, no results return. (See attached screenshots.)
I have another "Parent Department" field that is set up in much the same way, using a domain, but has fewer options. This one gives me the pull down menu rather than the search option and works as expected. The parent department domain has 13 domain options and the department domain has 167.
I think the search option rules are getting confused by the domain code/name, but regardless of what I search for (the code or the full name) it does not return any results.
Does anyone know if this is the case, and if there is a fix for it? Is it a bug?
I have found a slight work around by first filtering by a different field to narrow the options down, but this really isn't ideal for my intended use/end user.
