Will changing the default code page affect dBase column definitions?
... or only the cell value display?
Data export in ArcMap 10.4 changes floats to double... so input longitude field goes from F11.6 to F19.0 on output.
Do code pages control the field definition mapping when writing to a new shape file and/or .dbf file"
