Hub Map Popup Links Not Working

I have a feature layer that, in AGOL, is configured to show a popup with attributes from the table. This includes a link which shows as a link and allows to use it, functionally, as a link.
When viewing the FL in Hub, however, the link in the popup only displays as text and not a link, forcing users to copy and paste it in order to use it.
Additionally, the year field, which is stored as an integer adds a 1000's comma by default.
How can these two display settings be sorted out? I can't seem to find anything in Hub settings to cause/fix this.
