How often does our Hub content refresh on its own? Do we need to trigger this on our end periodically?

We understand how to manually refresh our site content, and are familiar with this post, "How to Manually Refresh Your Site's Content": https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-hub-blog/how-to-manually-refresh-your-site-s-content/ba-p/88511...

We are wondering if we should expect that Hub does this on a schedule? Or in other words, what is the trigger for the the Hub indexing system (aside from the manual reindex request)?

Hi @KristenWobbe1 ,

ArcGIS Hub indexes and enriches all public content. If you're seeing that metadata or data appear out of date, you're on the right track that you should manually check for content updates. For context, ArcGIS Hub will check for updates to all public items once a day. This is a batch process that runs during EST hours night and early morning hours. ArcGIS Hub will "harvest" ArcGIS Online and check to see if any metadata are out of date.

In addition, anytime that there is an update to an item in ArcGIS Online and that item's metadata are updated, ArcGIS Online will notify ArcGIS Hub that the item's metadata has changed. Then ArcGIS Hub will update the index with the latest metadata typically within a few minutes.

But is this just the metadata, or....we have a date field in one of our layers, and the only way that the filter for field is up to date is to do the manual refresh. If Hub indexes the public data once a day, why does the date field in the filter widget not update? Thanks!
