Feature service which has no datasets?

I have been having some issues with open data lately. 

I am using a map service from my own ArcGIS Server.  I added items for each layer of the map service as individual items in AGOL as an item from the web with the service url for each layer.  I then shared the items (which are public) with my open data group which is Public and designated as available for use in Open Data.

In my open data site (which is currently Private for testing), I then added this group in the Manage Data tab.

A couple of weeks ago, this worked fine and all the data was showing properly.  But now when I view the Data Report, it says “feature service which has no datasets” and in the Manage Sites page, it lists that the Open Data site has items but Datasets are n/a even though when I view the items in AGOL or query the layers in the map service, they work fine.

Has anyone else seen this issue lately or know what the problem/solution is?  Is this related to the recent update?  FYI – AGOL hosted services work just fine.

Hi Matthew -

Thanks for the link to your group. Looking through some of your services I observe "Token required". ​ Feature services must be publicly accessible to appear on Open Data.

Thanks for your quick follow-up. I've noticed the token security on several hosted feature services I’ve recently added. When I add the layers as individual items on ArcGIS Online I have to enter my username and password for ArcGIS Online in order to access it. I don't know why this added layer of security is there because SSL is not enabled on our ArcGIS Online site. Any suggestions? We've decided to host our open data services on an on premise server that doesn't require token security. I tested one of the layers with this new method and it does show up on our open data site!

I am uploading feature services   into my Open Data site , i have the same problem now when I view the Data Report, it says “feature service which has no datasets”.

Do you know which is the solution?  or i only should wait  around 24 hours for view correctly load my feature services in my Open Data site.

Plase could you help me , i need know what is the solution for this issue  because i try upload 70 new  feature services in my Open Data site.

I solve this issue republish my map service with a shortname service and little description service and other times without category or quantity simbology
