1. There should be the opportunity to add some additional options (choice list) into the Follow button - for example We use HUB initiatives as a different project web pages and there might be several topics going on in the same time. We don't want to send all e-mails to all followers. Some people are interested about the management topics, some are interested events, some are interested seminars etc. if the follow button allows some choices, we would be able to manage it.
2. Send message to followers should allow more than plain text. The opportunities here for example are excellent compared to the hub initiative follower message windows (added photo to compare). In the HUB should be at least attachment opportunity in case we would like to send some newsletter, we could design it somewhere else and send it out through the HUB.
