Synchronization Issue (WPF ArcGIS Mobile)

Problem:
I am having synchronization issues between my tablets PCs and my server.
It is taking approximately 25 seconds to synchronize one point from the tablet PC to the server.
I never had these issues over 1 year ago.

Environment:
I am using a WPF ArcGIS Mobile out of the box solution.
No modifications to the out of the box solution, just using the Collect Features task.
The feature layers start empty. Meaning my data is empty/small, not large data sets.
Tablets are using Win XP, Vista, Win 7, and they are all having the same synchronization problem.
Server is running MS SQL 2008 R2.
I am using an older build version of ArcGIS Mobile, 2500.

Note:
I have created brand new feature classes and tried them.
I have directly connected the tablet PCs with a LAN cable to eliminate bandwidth issues.
I have problems synchronizing on both LAN and Wirelessly via cell towers (SIM card).

Would updating ArcGIS Mobile 2550 solve my issue? Although everything was working fine over 1 year ago.
Could there be a setting in the database or ArcSDE that would be causing synchronization issues?
It also appears that the issue is mainly with uploading features, not with downloading features.

Could someone shed some light on this issue please.

Thanks,

Akhil P.

I wanted to share my current solution to the synchronization issue.
It turns out that I had enabled "Move Edits To Base" for each of my feature classes, and this caused extra time to sync.
I created a new set of feature classes with "No Edits To Base", meaning no check for the checkbox and now I can sync.

With "Move Edits To Base" = 25 seconds to sync one point feature.
With "No Edits To Base" = 1 second to sync one point feature.

In the coming weeks, I am going to investigate how this affects our custom web GIS application that display the mobile service in the web app.

To find out the differences between those two types of Registering as Versioned options have a look at this link.

Hope this helps others.

It turns out that our web application is was not able to show the points on the map.
Our web mapping application, reads the same service I used for ArcGIS Mobile, but no points appear on the web map.
But when you look at the service in the Javascript explorer, you will see the point.

Once again, I want to bring focus to the FeatureClass > Right click > Register as Versioned > [  ] Checkbox for Move Edits to Base.

What are you guys doing for the that checkbox?

Are you having similar problems as I am?

When I place a checkmark in the checkbox, it takes ~25 seconds to synchronize 1 feature from the ArcGIS Mobile WPF application (out of the box).

But when I do not place a checkmark, it takes ~1-2 seconds to sycnhronize 1 feature.

Kindly advise.
