ArcGIS Mobile on Rooted Android Phone

I will be most likely picking up a used HTC Incredible in the near future to start playing with ArcGIS Mobile and possibly with the Android SDK. 

Has anyone been able to install ArcGIS Mobile for Android on a rooted phone? 

Installed on a phone with a custom ROM?

Anyone with information or experience with this that could fill me in on the limitations, if any?

Some information to help you get started and introduce you to ArcGIS for mobile devices. Esri has several mobile solutions that are supported on mobile devices including ArcPad, ArcGIS for Windows Mobile and ArcGIS for Smartphones (iOS, Android, Windows Phone). If you are wanting to develop for the Android platform then you will want to check out the ArcGIS for Android application.
