Hi there,
Is there anyway to autopopulate the ArcGIS Portal URL in ArcGIS for Teams so that if we push it out to all our users they do not have to do it individually? We want them all to sign in to our enterprise portal by default. Automatically signing them in would be even better. We have SSO via SAML in Microsoft Entra ID.
Thanks,
Marc
Hello @Marc_Graham,
Let me see if I can clarify your question. Are you asking if it is possible to have to portal URL saved and already logged into your enterprise portal? If you have SSO consented by your admin for your Teams tenant then you should be able to already have everyone logged into your specific organization with ArcGIS for Teams. Or are you referring to having your users logged in advance so as they open Microsoft Teams, when accessing ArcGIS they are already logged in to your portal organization? Does this sound about right?
Thank you,
Sebastian
I think I am referring mostly to option B. Give nthat most of our users are Enterrpise Users, and we have an Enterprise Portal, I would like this to be pre-configured as the default option for them to reduce the amount of effort and steps they have to go through on first signin.
Basically I would like the users to skip these steps:
And have our portal auto-populated. I would still need the ability for some power users to be able to add additional portals if required.
Thanks,
Marc
Got it! Appreciate the info, this is something we do not yet have enabled through ArcGIS for Teams but we can certainly look into it as an enhancement to better the Enterprise User Experience logon process whether they are auto-logged in or with the ability to swap between portal for power users.
