World City locator for Canada

Hi,

I have an excel table with city/town locations for Canada. When I try and add them to a map using the World City locator none of them are located. I have tried the format City, Country and a couple of permutations of City, Province, Country. Searching for these locations on an ArcGIS.com map does return results.

Any thoughts? Is it because world cities only includes places with large populations?

Hi Greg,

The ArcGIS Online Geocoding service that Esri Maps for Office uses will be updated soon (hopefully by the end of the month) with additional city/province levels for Canada.
