Relocating Photos in ArcGIS for SharePoint

Hello,

In our organization, we are using ArcGIS for SharePoint to geolocate photographs stored in a SharePoint library using their coordinates.

Sometimes, we need to modify the location of these photos, and we would like to relocate the point directly from ArcGIS for SharePoint. The process we currently follow is to go to the library, select the photo, and click on “Edit Locations”, but it would be more intuitive to do this directly within the ArcGIS for SharePoint interface.

Is this possible?

Thank you in advance.

Hello @CID --

We are currently working on that feature. We are hoping to deliver the "editing" feature for SharePoint data in the web part during Q1 of 2026. I will be posting a "release" blog when the new version of the app is ready to download from Microsoft app source.

Please stay tuned!

Thanks & Regards,

Raaj

Hello @CID --

Thanks for posting your question on Esri Community.

If I am understanding your requirement, you would prefer to do the geometry or attribute editing (in your case, relocating the points) directly in the ArcGIS for SharePoint SharePoint "web part", am I right?

Thanks @& Regards,

Hello

Thank you for your quick reply.

Yes, that's correct. We would like to relocate the points directly within the "ArcGIS for SharePoint", without having to switch to the SharePoint document library.

Sometimes, when reviewing the photos in ArcGIS for SharePoint, we notice that some coordinates need adjustment, and we would like to be able to make those changes directly.

Thanks in advance
