Hi
I'm using a SharePoint Web Part connected to a Sharepoint List to display a location map using ArcGIS. The user can select a base location and relevant map data for that location will be transferred into the SharePoint list, overwriting any previous data. this is being done through Power automate. all working fine except:
The ArcGIS Web Part in Sharepoint doesn't change its viewport to view data at the new location. It stays at the location when the webpart was first created. So if the original is say London, when the map data for Newcastle overwrites the London data, it still shows London. You then have to select a layer and use search to re-centre the map. Is there any way this can be done automatically? I've turned Auto Refresh on, for all layers.
Thanks
Bob
Hello @BobVincent --
Thanks for reaching out to us on Esri Community.
Would you be able to send me the steps in detail on your workflow? Any screenshots or screen capture videos would be very helpful.
Thanks & Regards,

Hi Raaj
Here's a little more detail.
The Sharepoint WebPart has been created in Sharepoint linking to a Sharepoint list with 3 layers. This includes the lat/long and some title/descriptive data.
The List is then refreshed (all data removed, new data presented) using a Power automate script. This is working fine and the Sharepoint List is correctly updated.
The issue is that when a user goes into the Web Part the map is still centred on the old list. However when the user goes into a layer and does a search on an individual point the map refreshes correctly.
What I'm hoping for is an option to automatically refresh the map with the new List data. These are the instructions I am passing to the users to resolve the centring.
Below is the screen they go to, and how they currently re-center.
The Map View will still probably be showing Avebury, and I haven’t yet worked out how to autocentre to the new property. So to get to the right place simply select the Home Layer, and …, then search. The map will then re-centre. See below.
Hope this helps

Thanks for sharing the additional details. This is very helpful. I am going to discuss this with the team internally and provide you with an approximate timeframe as to when you can expect this feature enhancement in the ArcGIS for SharePoint app. Will keep you posted!
