I have a WMS service that works well in ArcGIS online, poorly in AGX desktop and not at all in ArcGIS for Sharepoint. In Sharepoint it shows the AG Online map with the service, but no data from the service. If I add the service directly it seems to get the bounding area, but still shows no data. The service works fine in AGX Online, ArcView 10, QGIS and Google Earth, so I doubt there are any issues with the service itself. WMS: http://geoserver.ecsecc.org/geoserver/wms?
FYI, WMS services are not directly supported by ArcGIS for SharePoint out-of-the-box. It is possible though an add-in �?? there is a sample in the interactive SDK: ArcGIS for SharePoint | Interactive SDK - WMS Layer
