I’m currently working with Power BI and actively using the ArcGIS integration. We have a need to visualize map layers via WMS and WFS, and I’m wondering if there are any plans to support these layer types in future versions of ArcGIS for Power BI?

We’re aware that third-party visuals like Icon Map offer WMS support, but it would be extremely helpful to have this functionality directly within the ArcGIS visual.

Could you please let us know if this is something Esri is considering, or if there are any workarounds or upcoming features that might address this need?

Looking forward to your feedback!

Kind regards,

Silje

Hello,

You could try using the workaround of adding the WMS or WFS as an item in your ArcGIS Online content first. And then you can add this to your Power BI visual.

Hi @TrondBrenden-Veisal,

Thank you for your question! And thank you @LeslieUK for your help!

ArcGIS for Power BI supports web maps and WFS for ArcGIS users. You could add the layers from + ArcGIS data from Layers tool.
