I know there are several options for selecting data on your map, with tools to see highlighted or selected rows. In the spreadsheet, I see that can select a single row and go to that location on the map.
I would expect to also be able to set a filter on my data, limiting features to a certain category for example, and have my map reflect that filter. It doesn't seem to work that way ,though.
This seems pretty basic to me. I've only been looking at this a couple of days, though.
