We regularly produce planning application reports for committee meetings using Microsoft Word. We are currently reviewing our document templates to bring them inline with accessibility standards. I have been asked if it is possible to include a map template and automatically fill in the address based on the address attribute stored against the application polygon.
e.g User opens the Microsoft Word template and types in the application number. The address is populated, map automatically filters the layer, zooms to the application polygon and labels it, copyright statement added to footer.
At the moment users create the map using a web app builder app and export it to a JPEG and then manually populate the address field, application number, description etc and insert the map as a image.
