Area of Interest by closed Autocad polyline

Limitation to the Area of interest by drawing a rectangle or the screen view, when needing a corridor that stretches for many miles the limitation exists, bringing in too much-unwanted data into a rectangular cut.

Has there been a suggestion made to choose a closed Autocad polyline as an additional option for the Area of Interest?

Hi, thanks for the idea. This is something we have heard before and something the team things is a good idea. I'm going to move this to under consideration. I will say that while we will consider adding this I won't guarantee that it will be from a closed polyline it might be from a free form snip etc but with the general idea of making it less restrictive.
