Issue overview
ArcGIS for AutoCAD users are not able to create named versions on branch versioned web feature layers from ArcGIS Enterprise 11.2 or later.
The ArcGIS for AutoCAD team is working to address the issue. We will provide updates as soon as more information is available.
How does this affect you?
At this time, ArcGIS for AutoCAD users are not able to use the plug-in to:
- Create named versions on branch versioned feature layers for ArcGIS Enterprise 11.2 or later.
- When attempting to carry out this action, then the named version creation will fail.
- The current workaround is to create the named version using another tool such as ArcGIS Pro.
- Users can still otherwise use named versions.
What are we doing about the issue?
The product team is working hard to:
- Develop a fix for the issue.
- Include the fix in an upcoming beta version.
- Include the fix in the next release of ArcGIS for AutoCAD.
