I am trying to send a map from ArcGIS over to Field Maps with MMPK. I used the "Create Mobile Map Package" tool to compress my map to a single file, then I used the "Share Package" tool to send it to ArcGIS Online, which I have linked to Field Maps. The map appears with a thumbnail under "My maps", I tap download, it then shows under "On device", but when I try to open it, I get the following error messages: "Unable to open" above "Item type not supported in Geopackage". The .mmpk files I've created mostly range from 3.1-3.3 mb in size.
Things I have tried:
I don't have any more detailed information about the error message, and I'm not sure how to attach a screenshot to this post. I've tried my best to exclusively follow ESRI documentation to get an offline map to appear on Field Maps, but it seems like I've hit a wall here and I don't know what else to try.
Thanks for any advice or insight anyone can provide!
Michael
Hi @MichaelRowley . When you create your MMPK, there is an option to share it to your ArcGIS Online Organization, you shouldn't need to use another tool to publish it to your org. In Pro, select "Share" at the top of the screen > Mobile Map (in the Packages section of the Ribbon) and then when the tool pops up make sure to select the option to Upload package to online account. When the tool is done running, you should see the MMPK in your org and be able to open it in ArcGIS Field Maps. This should work for you. Let me know if you have any other questions.
