I'd like to be able to restrict users to only be able to create features in an editable hosted feature service by using the copy function on a feature and its attributes from a separate, read-only layer. This is in ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 (which may limit what I can do in comparison to what might be available in AGOL) and I've got the copy features bit working fine. The only slight hitch is that the big blue plus button is fairly conspicuous within the interface (at least on iOS) so ideally I would like to make that disappear to avoid users pressing it and creating a non-copied record which then has empty fields in.
I can't see anything obvious that would allow this and I'm assuming that setting my editable layer to not allow new features would get rid of the plus button, but then not allow me to copy the features. Does anyone know if this is possible or is it one to suggest as an idea?
