Hi all,
I have a map with several offline map packages that have been in use for over a year (and periodically repackaged during that time). I just added a layer and made some small changes to other layers (just labeling and popups), and now my offline packages are packaging interminably. I deleted them all and recreated them from scratch and the new ones are doing the same thing. A colleague is simultaneously having the same issue with an offline map for a Field Map that also had an existing offline map, and hers is smaller and simpler than mine and was originally created after the June 2026 update to AGO. I made a new map a few days ago and packaged an offline area with no issues.
Does anyone have any idea what's going on?
Update: As a test, I just made a new map with a single layer (our most basic data collection template, which we include in almost every one of our Field Maps maps, including one I made last week) and its offline map is also taking forever to package.
G'day @HollyTorpey_LSA . You're not alone in this, with threads like this bemoaning the problem. Unfortunately it's one of those longstanding ESRI-isms that's plagues the working day. It's just janky. Seems better than it was, but every time making an offline area is an exercise in breath-holding.
