Disable spatial editing in Field Maps app

I only want users to be able to select an existing line segment and add attributes stored in a related table using the Field Maps app.

Is there a way to disable spatial linework editing / collection in the Field Maps app? We prefer the users not to be confused with the option to collect spatial information. We just want them to add attributes to existing features.

Yes you can set this on the service itself on the settings page of the service.
