Again, absolutely loving tasks in field maps beta / field maps designer, and want to reiterate how much of a game changer it is

I'd love to see an option to align something akin to geofencing with tasks. For the sake of this post, let's call it proximity actions. Currently if I set geofencing within field maps designer It gives me a push notification. This is useful, but it would be ideal it could go straight to the popup of the closest 'assigned to me' tasks enabled feature. This could have a pre-set  proximity (say 10 metres)  This would speed things up as it would only require 1 button press for the user if close enough to a feature to inspect the feature and log as complete.

Further expanding on this idea: Data could also be logged automatically for scenarios where most of what you are inspecting have the same values.  For features that are Assigned to me and status= progress you'd just  have to walk within say 10 metres to the feature to tag the feature certain attributes, ie now()  date and the  default status of the feature, and also mark as completed. you wouldn't even need to take your phone out of your pocket.  For those inspections that require attention 'ie something changed' you go to the completed list and mark the difference for your closet feature that you have just walked up to. This would really speed up workflow, particularly for conservation volunteers who don't want to bringing their phones out of their pocket at every single feature they are inspecting when the values have not changed.  Having a an audible tone or vibration (like geofencing currently allows)  would reinforce to the user that the feature has been inspected and requires no further attention
