I'd really able to reduce the number of 'taps' it takes to bring up the form to add related records (inspections) in field maps

It would be ideal if in field maps designer we could set a default form to load, and then configure it so that when using the field maps mobile app, the form of the related record of the parent feature in closet proximity to the user's location could load automatically so that users can more quickly add inspections

As a user of field maps I find it quite tedious to tap on the map to bring up the form to find a parent point (the point that I'm trying to find can sometimes be obscured by the location dot if I'm right on top of it). I then have to select the parent point and then tap on the related table, then tap the add button, then click the submit tick That's at least 4 taps to add an inspection.  I think it could be reduced to One or two, which would save a heap of time in the long run.

99.9 percent of the time. I only need to add related records, not edit or view the parent point, or view or edit related records.

This is possible with Arcade. You create a html button in the popup to launch editing contexts within field maps.

See more here:

You could expand the arcade snippet to find the nearest related feature.
