We have photos attached to points, lines and polygons in Field Maps and Sweet, and if the surveyor has turned Location on with the EXIF location information in the jpeg stored in the related table for attachments.
In terms of polylines and polygons, we rely on the EXIF information to store the actual coords of where the photo was taken
Typically, we have to export these jpegs for the surveyor as well and they expect the EXIF information to be present - as well as presenting them in AGOL
Is it possible to make sure that the EXIF / Location is turned on in the device camera app and/or produce an message if it is not; or for Field Maps to embed this information if it is not present? This would help reduce user error where they have not made sure that Location is on in the camera app.
