Enhancement Request - Make scaling information persistent on the map

Background:
While zooming in and out on a map, the scaling information becomes visible on the map layer to show the scaling distance in relation to current location. Our Aviation team would like to have this scaling information visible all the time and not just appear when the zoom function is used.
