I have been trying to redesign how we deploy ArcGIS Enterprise to make a much more effective deployment from an IT management perspective. It is important that we can use the ArcGIS Field apps in the deployment but from av security point we need to be able to authorize the user before they access any of the servers that make out the Enterprise setup.
In some test we have done, putting a login site in front for the Enterprise publication giving the enduser a token that allows for access the network, we found it working perfectly for the Enterprise web portal and web content. However, the field apps can´t recognize a website that requires login before access the portal site and fails probably because the apps is designed on the idea that the portal must be reached initially.
I would love to see an option in the field apps that allowed me declare that there will be a “middle page” before the portal is accessed, allowing for a behavior like the websites and allowing us to work more securely.
