Is there a way to put disclaimers on maps on Arcgis.com?  Any ideas on any place to put them would be very helpful.

Thanks!

Hi,
No - I don't think that there is any way to do this. A couple of not-so-perfect workarounds: -
1. Create a presentation and add a text note to a slide which has a fixed extent. The downside to this is that the attribution is pinned to a specific location.
2. Add the disclaimer to the details of the map instead. The downside is that the disclaimer is not always visible when viewing the map

Another thought on this... you can get a disclaimer into the map if you use your own service as a basemap. That way you can add your own attribution to the service which shows up in the bottom right of the map.  See the attached screenshot for an example and this blog post for more information on using a custom basemap

If you configure a custom pop-up window for your data you could just add a disclaimer at the bottom.  It would show up in every pop up window.

if you're using a web app, you can use the splash screen for this.
