I´m interested studying online GIS-portals, that gives on the other hand information for users (for example map, that shows where to built, where not) and on the other hand gives information for administrator where users have planned to build.
Example:
1)Municipality has a Gis-portal in it´s internet-page that shows principles of its land use policy. When user, who is willing to build a house in this area, put a point in the map, it shows is it recommended to build there according to land use policy. If it´s not, Gis-portal shows better places to build and shows information, why it´s not good place to build.
2)When user have pointed a place in the map that want to build, Gis-portal send that information to administrator. With that information, municipality can follow users interest to build in specific areas.
I´m interested, is there that kind of portals in use somewehere? Also, if there isn´t, what is the way to build that kind of portal?With ArcGis, but where to start planning. What you need to build that kind of internetportal using GIS?
