Joez,
The thinking on ArcGIS layers (layer packages and layer files) is that they were authored a specific way, so ArcGIS Explorer does not provide options for changing the popup parameters.

Do you want to give ArcGIS Explorer 2500 a try?
The first row in the default ArcMap popup is the Display Expression defined for the field. ArcGIS Explorer 2500 is showing the expression the same as ArcMap.

Good morning Mark,
I've been having problems with some of my features' appearance in Popup Content windows in ArcGIS Explorer Desktop (Build 2500). I created an .nmf with services from remote locations and layers that I made using ArcMap 10.1 .gdb??s feature classes. For some of my layers, the feature attribute appears fine in the Popup Content window (as the Roads layer shown in the example below), showing the attribute that I assigned in ArcMap (Layer Properties??Display tab??Display Expression).

However, for other layers, ArcGIS Explorer Desktop (Build 2500) doesn't recognize my layer setups. It shows either a different field name (as the Properties and info layer shown in the example below) or an attribute from a different field (usually Text or String data type fields) than what was set in the Display Expression in ArcMap.

I really don't know how to fix this, but it looks like there might be a glitch in the process. I thought it might be due to my Region and Language setting on my computer, which is French (Canada), but I don't believe that would be the cause since I succeeded in creating some layers with that setting. In other thoughts, could it be due to having too many layers (19) and services (12) in the .nmf? Or could it be due to the type of data (Text or String vs Numeric) of the field selected in Display Expression? I have no idea.
And on a lighter note, here are a couple of friendly suggestions that could make ArcGIS Explorer Desktop better (which were partly brought up by another user in this forum): Would it be possible to have the Popup Content window open to a size that would show all of the content in the window (i.e. no scroll bars)?

And in a feature??s Popup Content window, would it be possible to have the layer??s name at the very top instead of the attribute? And it might not be necessary to have the display attribute appear at the top (in the darker blue part) since it makes a repetition of data.

Also, it would be nice to have forward and backward arrows at the bottom of the window (as the example below) so that it would be possible to go to the previous or next feature appearing in the first Popup Content window.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and consider our suggestions. I appreciate all that is done by your team to improve ArcGIS Explorer Desktop.
